A missed delivery of a vacuum cleaner sparked the founders to question the underlying factors behind missed deliveries. This led them on a journey of discovery to uncover inefficiencies in how retailers interact with couriers, which spawned Australia’s fastest growing shipping platform, Shippit. In 2015, the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) was a product integrating Shopify, to a national 3-hour courier. With limited automation, it forces the retailer to select a carrier, rather than being recommended the most compatible one.
