What is 30under30?
30under30 is an Anthill initiative launched in early 2008 to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among young Australians. This year saw a surplus of highly qualified entrants, so we thought we would highlight some of the bright and innovative nominees who just missed the Top 30 by a wink. For Ross Scutts, the satisfaction of succeeding on one’s own is never enough.
That’s why he founded the Young Entrepreneur’s Club, a support network for business innovators who want to be around like-minded individuals. Brisbane entrepreneurs know that Scutts is far from new to the scene.
His biggest exploit has been Auzrun, a lifestyle rally event modelled on those of the U.S. and Europe, and the first and only of its kind in Australia.
“It is my passion to create a commercial enterprise that both benefits society and produces an income for for the business that I am working within,” says Scutts, who sold a dizzying $1 million worth of businesses, franchises and shares before turning 21.
And he’s walked the walk: he donated over $45,000 to the Make a Wish Foundation through Auzrun in 2010.
“There are no challenges or obstacles that can sway my commitment to my personal, professional and family goals in life,” he asserts.

Knowing that I am constantly contributing towards the success of others in all different areas of life, especially helping them with creating the business and financial life they desire.
