This innovation initially came to life when…

a little girl in my class asked to play a health quiz. We didn’t find the resources online or a way to create fun engaging quizzes that met our needs – so we started work on a platform that could! Quizling was born! Our colleagues loved it and our students loved it, and we wanted to expand our reach and provide better resources from and for the community!

2. WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

engage! Great learning is about creating, playing and sharing. Through small fun quizzes, great data can be collected to make learning even better. Quizling connects the broader education community – from national institutions to primary school students!

It does this by…

enabling anyone to create, play and share quizzes. Quizzes and trivia are super sticky – we are think about the question! Friendly competition and rivalry make it fun. Anyone can create and share- which means a national institution or grade five student can challenge each other and share what they know best!

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

the platform enables teachers, students and families to engage with our great museums in one place! Great game play, expert content, social sharing and interaction make Quizling an amazing place to promote our national institutions, tell our stories, to engage and to learn.

building communities! National institutions can engage with audiences before, during and after a visit. Teachers and parents have a fun way to enhance their child’s learning – and the data collection make our museums even better!

The Quizling Platform is giving museums the chance to engage kids from all over Australia, not just visitors to the building, Schools can engage and build relationships with museums – giving kids new opportunities and sparking curiosity! Plus – Quizling provides the data worksheets can’t. Museums can see where quizzes are played and what learning is taking place!
