Playful fruit-themed designs all the rage

As the southern hemisphere heads into winter hibernation, our friends in the northern hemisphere are gearing up for summer frivolity. And what’s synonymous with summer? Ripe, bright fruit.
In keeping with this sentiment, Japanese industrial Designer Naoto Fukasawa [1] has produced fruit juice boxes that look and feel like the fruit from which their contents have been wrung. The range includes banana, kiwi fruit, strawberry and a tofu design for soy milk. (via Lost at E Minor [2])

Catching a similar wave, designer creative agency Kimberly Clark Corp [3] has developed for Kleenex [4] a series of tissue boxes that look like the fruits of summer. Just the thing for dabbing the corner of your mouth as it glistens with watermelon. (via The Inspiration Room [5])
