Pitch Club delivers a knockout to Melbourne

July 4, 2009 | By Pitch Club (sponsored message)

Pitch Club in partnership with Melbourne Angels hosted its latest event in Melbourne last week.

Over 140 people attended the event at Life.lab in the Docklands, Victoria, to hear 11 entrepreneurial individuals pitch their business ideas.

Business ideas ranged from environmentally conscious business concepts to businesses helping streamline purchases of tickets and much more!

Melbourne Angels participated in a feedback panel, providing suggestions and tips on how to improve pitches and what specifically investors are looking for in a pitch.

Jordan Green (founder of Melbourne Angels) was guest speaker for the evening and shared his experiences and some important lessons on entrepreneurship and angel investment.

Rod Sheppard from eco-switch was overall winner for the evening.

Visit here for the full results.

Prizes were given to various pitchers from a number of sponsors, including Anthill Magazine, Pitch Club Campus, Handle Communications and Melbourne Coffee Review.
