Sure, they have bazillion dollar budgets, but seriously, how do they keep coming up with simple, elegant and awesome ads?
When many people study marketing at University, they dream that one day they’ll work for a company like Coke or Nike, simply because of the awesome marketing that comes out of these behemoths.
There were a few years where they had a slump in their creative. But that applies no more. Here I am, again, about to say go on about how awesome this Coke ad is.
Continuing on from the hidden camera patrolling a very huggable Coke vending machine, we now have an ad made up of security camera footage.
Rightly or wrongly, it is often assumed that security cameras catch only the worst of humanity.
This may be the cheapest TVC shoot ever, but the concept and creative of showing people caught being accidentally awesome will put a smile on your face.
It just goes to show that to be memorable and find your voice amongst the marketing blather, sometimes you just have to make people feel good about the world.
In less than a week, this ad has had more than three million views on YouTube.
That’s a lot of happy people.
