Great video – Ellison is obnoxiously charming. He released the Network Computer in 96 which was an early version of “cloud computing” an idea ahead of its time. Methinks he’s a little bitter.
I think “The cloud” is a useful shorthand, but I love iconoclasts, especially iconic ones.

I dislike Ellison vehemently for what he and the other egomaniac Bertarelli did with the America’s Cup in Valencia so anything he says has to be tainted by that. Selfish egomaniac.
