For want of a better name, we’re calling this exercise Online Marketing Month.

Over the next four weeks, we’ll be bringing you a range of opinions, articles and ‘experiments’ on this topic, culminating in an evening seminar and half-day workshop, aptly titled ‘Online Marketing by Design’.

    Please, please draw the distinction between B2C and B2B.

    These are of course fundamentally different. Articles that do not draw the distinction miss one of the basic points.

    For those of us in WA can we see a resume of the events (evenif its after the event) so we can learn from the seminar presenters as well. If you can’t putthe content on line maybe emailing us copies of their presentations will be acceptable.

This morning, I sat down with my 9-month old son, Julian, to feed him breakfast. This is one of the jobs allocated to me as a first-time, new father. Remembering the arduous steps required to complete yesterday morning’s meal (and the day before that), and contemplating how bizarre it is that I must work so hard to provide him something that will make him stronger and healthier and happier, I began to think about online marketing.
