Advertising agency JWT Brazil was tired of staff not completing their compulsory time sheets each week.
How did they fix it? They rigged the beer fridge to the time sheet system. Unless all time sheets were in by Friday, the fridge did not unlock. Et voila! or as it’s Brazil, perhaps it was olha so! The time sheets were done. On time. 100% completion rate.
It’s sort of like making children eat vegetables in order to get dessert.
Except, that doesn’t involve beer, unless it’s to console the parent when the child still won’t eat their vegetables.
