Not so ‘Mini’ when it comes to advertising…

For a small car, the Mini packs a big punch: particularly when it comes to its global advertising campaigns.

Back in January, we posted a video of the ingenius Dutch campaign of Mini ‘packaging’ thrown out onto various streets in Amsterdam during the 2009 Christmas period.

Well, it would appear that ad agencies the world over have worked hard at coming up with ever more creative ways to convey the message that the Cooper’s size is not comensurate with its speed, internal space and desirability.

Car advertising is huge business and there are plenty of grand and clever campaigns out there. However, when it comes to creative flair, we think that cool things definitely come in small packages.
