We hope that, as a good Anthillian, you found it in your heart to donate money, blood, clothes or food to some of the many unfortunate Victorians whose lives have been turned upside-down by bushfires in the past week. The fires continue to burn and Victorians continue to suffer at the hands of this devastating natural disaster.
Now there is another way to help out those whose family homes now lie in ruins.
Creative agency Sputnik has created Bushfire Housing, a free web service that enables people to post and find offers of temporary accommodation for Victorians who are now homeless. It’s an incredibly useful service as it provides needed relief right now in a way that money can not.
If you live in Victoria and have a spare room at your place, consider helping out and offering it as a temporary billet.
