New Fax-to-Twitter service proves there’s a Twitter app for everybody

It’s hard to watch this clip without mixed feelings. I’m so happy that Dorothy Miller, an 80-year-old grandmother, has found an easy way to keep in touch with her daughter.

But using a fax to tweet… C’mon!

This ‘system’ (as the anchorman insists on calling it) is provided by an organisation called Celery [1]. People who do not own computers can now convert their handwritten letters and notes into e-mails and tweets via fax machine. (Remember those?)
