1. THE BEGINNING

This innovation initially came to life when…

Our co- founder, Michael, spoke at a conference on comparative health data laws in India. This caused Michael to leave his job as a lawyer and delve full time into Indian healthcare. We undertook 1.5 years of market research and product testing, rolled out an early version of our current product which attracted 40,000+ users. Now we have rolled the learnings into a subscription health service whereby we provide telemedicine, discounted medications and diagnostics, delivery of those services and priority hospital visits for AUD$11.50 per year. We have developed incredible partnerships in order to facilitate this business coming to life.

2. WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

bring ease and convenience to populations for whom healthcare remains time consuming and expensive to access. We are providing discounted and on demand access to some of the best healthcare providers in India at a low annual price.

It does this by…

…creating an ecosystem of healthcare, tying together providers who otherwise would not work with each other. Our doctors, medication delivery companies, diagnostics companies and genomics company would never otherwise interact. Through a simple and bespoke app we are able to bring them all together in a seamless patient experience. In 2 screen taps, a doctor consult is provided and medications delivered.

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

For the population, we are focused on they continue to primarily access healthcare through brick and mortar providers. This results in delays in seeking treatment because of the time it takes to do so, let alone the expense. Searing heat, monsoon floods and traffic jams do not encumber our customers. They can receive a consult with a doctor at anytime.

Its various benefits to the customer/end-user include…

Convenience and ease of use are crucial. We operate video as smoothly on 2g as we do on 4g. We also provide a uniquely designed electronic medical record which is usable by low literacy populations.

4. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

Although digital health has begun to emerge in India with companies taking on various aspects of the healthcare ecosystem. What we have built however is a closed system, primary and tertiary care accounted for in the one simple consumer front end. This is a big change in the market which we are having to actively manage.

5. TARGET MARKET

It is made for…

People who live in urban areas of India (population centres of 500,000 or more). We are currently focused on tier 1 cities and ensuring that we are able to consistently meet delivery times and services through our partners. This is a key factor in determining appropriate markets to expand to.

It is available for sale through…

Our partners including hospitals, universities and workplaces. We are currently focused on b2b and b2b2c sales across the Delhi NCR region.

Our marketing strategy is to…

Educate individuals and employers about the benefits of having electronic medical record driven consultations over the phone. The benefits when it comes to convenience and enabling preventative health which are significant challenges they are seeking to address.
