A Quickboat assembles from a flat-packed boat, much like stand-up surfboard to form a 3.7-m long fully rigid water-craft capable of up to 20 knots with two persons and an 8hp motor in less than 60 seconds.
The company aims to enable more people the ability to access waterways than ever before possible. A Quickboat can easily be transported on the roof of a car or camper and, once back home, can hang on the garage wall ready for another day.
The boat is made with strong composites consisting of a foam-filled, high density core with Kevlar hinges bonding it together. Assembling in less than 60 seconds, the Quickboat is there when you want it or not when you don’t, as it easily hangs on the garage wall.
What’s the value to customers? Quickboats’ James Graham tells us, “Your family and friends can get out onto the water without all that expense and complication of traditional boat ownership.”
