The Media Accelerator Program is an initiative launched by the Festival of Media Global and aims to introduce innovative media companies and products to industry leaders.

The Festival of Media Global, organised by C Squared, has issued a call for media innovators to participate in its Media Accelerator Program (MAP).

Participating companies will compete for one of ten speaking slots and the title of Festival of Media Global ‘Hot Company of the Year’.

The competition will be judged by a jury composed by Bernhard Glock, former President of the World Federation of Advertisers; Chris Redlitz, General Partner of Transmedia Capital; Tim Hanlon, CEO of Velociter; and Russel Buckley, AdMob Evangelist at Google and Global Chairman Emeritus at the Mobile Marketing Association, among others.

“The Festival of Media Global is now well known for attracting the highest level global decision makers in the media industry,” said Greg Brooks, Content Director of C Squared.

To participate companies must fulfill certain criteria. Companies must be at an early stage of commercial development but operational (i.e. their products or services must have been launched or trialled).

The deadline for entries is 18 May 2010. The festival will take place in Montreux, Switzerland, between the 8 and the 10 of May.
