Q. How many items of information can I request in the ‘gateway’?
As many as you want. But we recommend limiting your questions to: Name, Email, Phone and three lead qualifying questions (i.e. Size of organisation or state). Too many questions will reduce the number of people likely to complete the form.
Q. Wouldn’t it just be better to send click-throughs to my homepage?
It all depends on your goals and promotion. A gateway will reduce the number of people who click-through to the eventual offer page or website. However, a gateway will capture the details of those with a strong interest in your offer – thereby providing you with a strong list of ‘pre-qualified leads’ to add your own database and follow up.
Q. What are the privacy implications? Am I allowed to add the details of these people to my own database and follow them up?
By completing the form, users provide permission for you to contact them and add their details to your own database as part of the form Terms and Conditions. You may not, however, onsell or share contact information collected by this service.
