Jessica Nazarali, 29, is a Business Strategist and Certified Master Coach for women. Her brand is her namesake, but under that, she created an online training academy around the term ‘It Girl’ and added her own definition to the concept.
“An It Girl is someone who is confident, successful and fun. She is willing to do what it takes and commands excellence from herself.”
Nazarali started It Girl Academy because she wanted to help women master online marketing, coaching skills and their mindset when it comes to approaching business. Along with three paid programs, Nazarali also runs a not-for-profit that helps women in developing countries start their own business. Here’s a link: www.itgirlfoundation.org
Motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, Nazarali’s mission is to help people achieve more, this was the motivating factor behind starting the It Girl Foundation because she wanted to expand her reach and make a difference in people’s lives beyond the work in her paid programs.
Obviously, similar to other entrepreneurs, she was also motivated by the idea of being completely in charge of her financial circumstances and a drive to be location independent.
Nazarali cleverly built buzz through a follow-up email campaign directed at a Free Mediation Download that was released on Facebook and Instagram in 2015.
The follow-up campaign is what a subscriber receives after they have subscribed to the download, this particular campaign had an open rate of 80%. Why? Nazarali shared a juicy story about how her ex-boyfriend broke up with her on her 21st birthday.
The story was so captivating that she ended up receiving emails from people asking to resend missed follow-up emails! She then positioned her mindset program Personal Mastery as a solution to her subscriber’s relationship and mindset problems.
The art of persuasion helped Nazarali close a celebrity endorsement and joint venture with one of the speakers from the movie “The Secret” and their company—with a database of over 1 million people—promote a product to their audience. This resulted in not just sales, but introductions to other partnerships in the United States, which took the business to over $1 million in 2016.
Anthill asked Nazarali, what is your super power?
“Understanding people and what makes them tick. When you understand people you can market, sell and persuade easily. You can support them to take action towards what they want out of life.”
