They allow us to connect, share ideas and progressively make the world a better place. But, like any new tool, the 'etiquette' is still evolving. Blogs were once derided. Yet, they now allow us to explore issues, involving multiple opinions. Once people learn to responsibly use a tool like Twitter, I see this platform having a big, positive impact. Just ask the citizen-activists in Iran.
