When I was travelling in China on business. I was continually hampered by the poor street address system and the inability to find places. Taxi-drivers, police and even locals have difficulty providing directions unless the address is specifically familiar to them.

On one trip, I sat in a car for 20 minutes while the driver argued with the factory I wished to visit. His GPS would not accept the address and he wouldn’t move until he knew where he was going. It was during this episode I had the thought, “There must be a better way.”

Provide a username-based electronic platform that allows easy navigation and location.

By bringing street addresses into the 21st century, we can use modern technology and find anything, anyone anywhere using the tools we already have – a mobile phone.

It does this by…

Allowing users to create people-friendly user-names and associate precise GPS locations to them. !username.home or !username.work, the locations are easy to use and make navigation precise. A !Geep can identify anywhere inside a building, providing separate locations for the receptionist or warehouse.

Users can create delivery addresses that tell the couriers where they are in real time.

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

Globally, traditional street addresses are unreliable and often require local knowledge to have relevance. Non-sequential numbering and streets with same or similar names cause problems when travelling outside our normal location.

Geepers addresses can locate specific points within a building or even relate to people and objects on the move. GPS equals precise locations for a mobile world.

Its various benefits to the customer/end-user include…

Finding friends and place, easily and reliably. Parcels can be delivered to us, wherever we are. Need an ATM or petrol station, or deliver a parcel to a specific person in a high-rise commercial building? Geepers makes it possible.

4. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

A printed street directory, local knowledge, in-car GPS and Google. All of these solutions rely on a centuries-old addressing system. These solutions are unreliable and even when they do work, they navigate you to a curb-side.

An exact GPS co-ordinate with a people-friendly user-name adds certainty to our navigation as well as a powerful “where is” places-of-interest search functionality.

Old fashion technologies and of late, Google Maps and other online mapping systems. The Geepers advantage is its structured naming protocol that allows anyone in the world to locate almost anyone or anything and navigate to it reliably.

5. TARGET MARKET

It is made for…

An increasingly mobile world. Geepers is a B2A (business-to-all) business, or at least all in the context of anyone with access to mobile phone technology or the internet. For people wanting to find other people, people wanting to find businesses or ecommerce parcels wanting to find a new owner, Geepers provides a powerful yet fun platform.

We have two core customers: the social user who will use it to keep track of their friends and find businesses and places of interest and the business user who will use it to be found by customers and service providers. Location-based marketing has arrived!

Geepers is an online product. The web application can be used by anyone with internet access and the Apps will be available through traditional App stores. Purchases where applicable will occur as online transactions.

Our marketing strategy is to…

Build a strong social-user base by making Geepers a fun and functional platform and by providing it free. We will drive our paying business customers primarily through the transport/courier industry who have a significant cost-down benefit from using Geepers and can deliver significant numbers of businesses to our platform.

Our advertising revenue will begin to flow as membership increases.
