Wired.com editor Dylon Tweney reviews the world’s freakiest and geekiest running shoe, the Vibram FiveFingers.
It’s kind of like a foot glove that protects the feet but allows you to run flat-footed as though barefoot. This is, apparently, much better for your body than the heel-toe action required when wearing traditional cushioned running shoes.
They might just be a secret weapon for professional runners, as competitors are likely to keep their distance from anyone wearing these.

You can buy them in Port Macquarie from Camping World in Bellbowrie. I have a pair they are a bit cold in winter but will be great in summer
