The June 2009 Sensis Business Index was released earlier today and it brings good news. The Index recorded the largest rise in SME confidence in a single quarter since it started 16 years ago.

However, the good news comes with a caution:

While the strong improvements are very welcome, it is important to remember that all of these indicators remain in negative territory overall, that is more businesses experienced falls than increases.
