1. THE BEGINNING

This innovation initially came to life when…

…one day I went to set up a company to hold multiple brands. It was then that I realised how complicated the current methods are. I could’ve gone direct to ASIC and filled out their clunky paperwork. Or I could’ve gone to my accountant and paid over $800 to set up a company. This I when I set out to create EasyCompanies.

2. WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

…make setting up a company quick, simple, easy and efficient. And deliver a one-stop shop for all the registration requirements.

It does this by…

…allowing you to set up a company within 2-3 minutes online along with a domain name, business name and ABN registration. We have a direct connection with ASIC to help speed up with this process so there is no manual paperwork needed.

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

Existing forms were quite clunky. Many websites were out there to set up companies online but they didn’t give you an instant response (you had to wait for them to manually process it).

Its various benefits to the customer/end-user include…

Speed, you can set up a company within 2-3 minutes online. Ease, no complicated legal jargon just straightforward language to guide the user through the form. Service, industry leading support including live chat, email and phone.

4. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

Either: a) filling out paperwork and sending it into ASIC. b) seeing your accountant and paying over $800. c) using existing services that take hours to get a response.

Its predecessors/competitors include…

eCompanies, which has been our strongest competitor.

It is made for…

…consumers who are looking to set up a company. Currently this market stems to over 200,000 registrations a year. We currently own 4% of this market and have registered over 8000 companies since inception.

It is available for sale through…

Our website at https://easycompanies.com.au.

Our marketing strategy is to…

Reach customers via direct response marketing through AdWords and word of mouth.
