This innovation initially came to life when…

We looked at the coupon systems used by companies such as Groupon that are bad for customers as they risk not being able to redeem an offer that has been fully paid for, and also bad for merchants as they do not get paid for unredeemed coupons which are kept by the group-buying site. We have removed the risk from both parties while keeping a revenue stream from the website. This was many sleepless nights for me and I am so excited to have the www.discounton.com.au system developed and ready to launch worldwide.

We have developed a coupon redemption and marketing system that allows merchants to list their offers directly to a website and customers to redeem an offer without having to pay until point of sale. This has been patented in 132 countries.

It does this by…

Merchants can advertise their discounted offers directly by uploading them to our site. Customers have no risk as they only use one coupon point worth one dollar to access any deal on the site. Merchants then get paid at POS directly by the customer. Our patented coupon points redemption system removes all risk for customers and merchants.

Customers are able to reserve limited discounted offers without having to pay until they redeem them at POS and this removes all risk. Merchants are able to market for free and keep all their profits.

This problem has never been solved prior to this as there has not been a workable easy system to deal with unhonoured coupons and the losses associated for customers. Also, merchants no longer lose their profits to a middle man and are able to advertise for free.

Groupon.com, Scoopon.com.au, Google search which is indiscriminate for results. Our search focuses 100% on deals only so everything that comes up is always a discounted offer.

The same market that is currently using the current group-buying sites that are fundamentally flawed and anyone interested in saving money on any product or service. We aim to be the search engine and listing directory for discounted offers and free marketing for businesses. Our invention should prove to be a catalyst for new business start-ups and removing all risk from the group-buying model. Also, our system allows for thousands of searchable offers at any one time instead of the one-three deal model which does not give customers what they want.
