Digital content competition MEGA Pitch Day announces its winners; Odd Games wins big

0

Digital content organisation, MEGA, has announced the winners of its recent Pitch Day competition for smartphone app ideas.

Does destroying monster trucks on your phone sound fun to you?  The panel of judges at MEGA Pitch Day thought so!

Startup game developers, Odd Games, won S6,000 cash and two Apple iPads for its up-coming app, Monster Truck Destruction.

Food Cloud, StudyPad and aProxyMate were the other big winners of the competition.

Participants in the Pitch Day competition worked on their ideas for four months and were coached by professional mentors.

Participants ranged from professional game developers to students.

MEGA chair Paul Daily says, “While the day is about engaging the audience and convincing the panel that the idea is a winner, the real purpose of MEGA is to encourage innovation for the long term.”
