The Australian Federal Government’s Export, Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC) is offering businesses the opportunity to asses their readiness to launch into the global market with an online ‘Benchmark your Business‘ test. The assessment takes only ten minutes and participants will receive a customised benchmark report that compares individual global expansion plans with national results and other relevant industry sector players.
Currently in its third year, the EFIC Global Readiness index (GRi) researches the current destinations for exporters and offshore investors, their motivations and the barriers they face in an increasingly globalised world. Providing a thorough snapshot of global supply-chain opportunities and obstacles, the 2010 survey is expected to provide some interesting insights into the desire of Australian companies to go global in light of the the recent global economic downturn.
