In case you missed it, last week Deloitte named cloud computing internet service provider Emantra as overall winner of its Technology Fast 50 for 2009.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is an annual ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies based on percentage growth over three years.
Emantra was praised for having embracing the latest technologies — such as smartphones, cloud computing, virtualisation and infrastructure as a service — to take advantage of the economic downturn to offer customers a less costly owner-operated technology via a managed services model.
Deloitte also recognised Vocus Communications with the Rising Star Award – for innovation, market share, business model, management team, access to funds and technical quality.
