Creative laser projections supercharge building facades

Everyone is competing for attention these days. Perhaps that’s always been the case, but the tools are so much more powerful and plentiful now.

Here’s a new technology that’s turning heads. These hypnotic 3D video mapping projections by Dutch creative agency NuFormer Digital Media are generated by batteries of powerful projectors that render stunning effects on buildings of any size. Awesome.

The second video shows the technology being deployed commercially — NuFormer Digital Media collaborated with Saatchi & Saatchi to produce a public promotion titled ‘There’s more to life than a Volvo’ in Frankfurt, Germany this year.

    This was done for the Adelaide Arts Festival last year. All the buildings along North Terrace were projected onto – looked amazing, especially as the images were changed so it was always something new.
