Anthill hosts Australia’s most elevated elevator pitch

On Thursday, eight Anthillians were given a pitching opportunity like no other — access to two prominent Australian investors in a hot-air balloon, while floating over Victoria’s Yarra Valley. Some might call it, Australia’s most elevated elevator pitch!

Thanks to the folk at one of Australia’s oldest and most respected ballooning companies, Global Ballooning, and queuing technology company Qumpit, seven entrepreneurs (and Anthill founder James Tuckerman) earned the opportunity to ‘hang’ with AngelCube‘s Adrian Stone and Adventure Capital‘s Darcy Naunton… some 2,000 feet in the air.

Entrepreneurs willing to share their ‘hot air’ for the occasion included representatives from nightfly, SnapComp and Aerion. Intraceuticals’ Nicole McMahon ‘floated’ a new concept for gourmet travellers, while photographer Zoe Wetherall spoke with her lens.

To select these seven high-flyers, Qumpit employed its proprietary online queuing platform, eQueue. Thanks to Global Ballooning, the trip concluded with a champagne breakfast at Rochford Winery.

The sky was never the limit…
