What were you doing at 15?

Buying Duran Duran albums? Maybe it was Pearl Jam? Perhaps it was Lady Gaga.

Did you invent a sensory device that will immediately alert the carers of Alzheimers patients of their movements? Well, one 15 year old did.

Kenneth Shinozuka was alarmed when his grandfather, who has Alzheimers, was brought home in the middle of the night by police. He was found wandering around a motorway.

So, he invented a device that would alert his family when his grandfather moved from his bed. In short, he found a problem worth solving and solve it, he has.

It’s inspirational stuff.
